Lighting the Hot Tub stove

Before lighting the stove, it is important to your Hot Tub that it is 3 / 4 filled with water. Never insert the Hot Tub on without enough water, because of possible damage to your Hot Tub.

Once the stove is 3 / 4 full it can be lit by 3 or 4 firelighters.

Hot Tub aanmaakblokjes

You can often buy them at the grocery store or hobby shop.

At the beginning you just leave the lid or cover from the stove, as the fire needs lots of air. Once the firelighters burn a little you can add drier wood like planks or smaller pieces of wood. In the meantime, place the lid partially on the stove.

Then as the flames across the board to properly burn, you can add larger pieces. Once the fire will burn at maximum you add the bigger woodblocks, and  you can slide the stove to the maximum stand location.

Once the water temperature is fairly warm and already feels good, just stop for a while adding extra wood. Experience shows that once the temperature is starting to become comfortable, you better stop with adding new blocks into the stove. This is to prevent that the watertemperature will exceed above the limit will be 37-38 degrees.
